Q. How much oxygen can the G4 oxygen concentrator produce? A.The Inogen One G4 concentrator unit is a pulse dose machine, offering settings 1-3.  

Q. What is the oxygen concentration of the Inogen One G4?  A. The G4 oxygen machine provides a concentration of 90% +/- 3% on all settings. This unit also features a “Low Oxygen” sensor technology, which sounds the alarm if the O2 concentration dips below therapeutic levels.

Q. Does the Inogen One G4 have an internal battery?  A. The Inogen One G4 unit does not include an internal battery but is powered by an external battery cartridge. The battery cartridge system makes for simple and easy use with the push of a button. Changing out your battery units is quick and hassle-free.
 
Q. Can the Inogen One G4 battery cartridge be powered and charged in my vehicle?  A. Yes! Thanks to the adaptability of the G4 unit, you can use and charge it on the go, when connected to your vehicle’s DC power supply (usually the “cigarette lighter” power port). Please note that your batteries must be connected to the G4 unit in order to recharge, and if you want the freedom to charge your batteries elsewhere, we recommend the optional external battery charger.

Q. Is the Inogen One G4 portable oxygen concentrator allowed on an airplane?  A. Yes, the G4 oxygen concentrator unit is approved for airline use by the FAA. Please check with your airline prior to your travel dates in regard to their policies around portable oxygen concentrators.
